The Alano Society of Manitowoc is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to serving individuals and families seeking recovery. Each 12-step meeting group maintains autonomy and identity separate from the Alano Society.

My very first meeting ever was at the Alano Society. The love I was shown was irreplaceable in my recovery because I was at a point in my life where I believed I was incapable of being loved. I was violent, unpredictable and one of the very first things said to me was, “We're going to love you until you love yourself.” I promise you, if it wasn't for the Alano Society, this building, and the people in it, my life would be drastically different.
